We are currently looking for plant engineers at our client's depot in Leicester.
This client is world renowned, prestigious organisation offering fantastic benefits and career progression for all employees and all levels.
The role involves servicing and maintenance of machinery and vehicles, and this can involve travel around Leicestershire and to Derbyshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, and Nottinghamshire.
We are looking for someone knowledgeable in plant machinery and vehicles with a good understand of the industry and environment. You will have had experience in roles carrying out hands on diagnostic and repair tasks.
The role involves working with hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions (Manual and Powershift), and cam-bus electrical systems.
The role is 40 Hours per week, 08.00am - 16.30pm, with an excellent overtime scheme
Overview of Duties:
Diagnosing issues
Repair of machinery and vehicles
Maintenance and check of machinery and vehicles.
Travel to sites to carry out the above
Ability to carry our required tasks remotely
Accurate recording and reporting of data
Dealing with customer queries and issues effectively
The successful candidate will have the following:
Minimum of NVQ 2 in Plant Engineering
A portfolio of Certification and achievements
Experience of servicing and maintenance of plant machinery and vehicles
Experience of hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions (Manual and Powershift), and cam-bus electrical systems.
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to prioritise workloads
Able to work on own initiative
