Working with a core team of Sheet metal workers in a manufacturing enmviroment
Fabricationof high integrity Mild Steel and Stainless-Steel Ductwork and to provide supervision for a core team
The following qualities/experience are essential:
* Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
* Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes
* Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours / nights / Weekends
* Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
* Holds a current driving license and CSCS Card and SSSTS Supervisor (gold card)
* Must be a good team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Understands the basic Company Protocols with regard to accidents and Incidents investigations
* Uncompromising approach to the implementation of safe systems of work
* Good working knowledge of current H & S legislation
* Where possible, adopts an innovative approach to enhancing safe systems of work
* Experienced in the delivery of engaging toolbox talks
* Experienced in resource allocation
* Awareness of Specification and other Contract documents
* Understanding of manufacturing tolerances
* Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans
* Encourages ownership within the team and fosters a culture of Right First Time
* Experience of managing the works of direct labour
* Produces and monitors the daily records, including holding reviews with team members to ensure proper record standards are maintained
* Understands material wastage allowances and able to suggest improvements to save materials
* Full fabrication of bespoke high integrity Ductwork components manufactured from Stainless and Mild Steel sheet thickness 2 to 3mm thick.
* Fabrication of QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork
