Do you possess excellent organisation skills and like to see that the job is completed well?
Our client is currently looking for a Sales Order Processor to join their busy Estimating Team processing customer orders!
You will be the point a contact between customers' orders and the Contracts Team, processing those orders, ensuring delivery requests are met and that their customer needs are successfully managed.
Minimum Hours of Work: 8:30 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 16:00 Friday
Sales Order Processor Duties:
* Create and update orders and delivery requests in accordance with the Company's procedures
* Develop and maintain good and effective working relationships between customers
* Support the Estimating and Contracts Teams in their objectives
* Ensure prompt action and progress of call offs and queries received from customers
* Check customer PO against Estimates
* Ensure all essential details are with the order ready for processing into Contracts
* Notify availability concerns to the Estimating and Contracts Teams
* General office admin duties
* Must be flexible to do extra hours where required
Sales Order Processor Requirements:
The right candidate must demonstrate that they possess the attributes of a "communicator", who can demonstrate skills obtained in sales order processing. Experience in Systems and procedures along with the areas listed below.
* Experience of administration of orders once they have been placed
* Demonstrable experience of sales order processing using sales order processing systems
* Excellent telephone call handling skills
* Must be able to communicate effectively and be polite but assertive when required in difficult situations
* Must be well organised with the ability to respond promptly
* High attention to detail - able to spot errors which can be costly
* Ability to work under pressure and make correct decisions
* Good skills in Outlook, Word and Excel - Training will be provided on specialist programs
* Evidence of building relationships with customers
* Previous work in a manufacturing environment - either office or shopfloor
