Mae gennym gyfle cyffrous i unigolyn helpu i lunio dyfodol gofal iechyd yn ardal Gwent ac yn GIG Cymru drwy ymgymryd â rôl Aelod Annibynnol ym Mwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan.

Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn deinamig i ymgymryd â rôl Aelod Annibynnol – Cyllid ym Mwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Aneurin Bevan. Bydd y sawl a benodir yn
cyfrannu'n weithredol at y ddarpariaeth iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol yn unol â chyfeiriad strategol GIG Cymru yn ardaloedd Blaenau Gwent, Caerffili, Sir Fynwy,

Casnewydd, Torfaen ac mewn ardaloedd eraill y tu allan i'n ffin ddaearyddol.

Bydd gennych wybodaeth arbenigol am fecanweithiau ariannol, gyda dull gweithredu sy’n canolbwyntio ar y dinesydd a rhywfaint o wybodaeth am faterion cymunedol lleol. Bydd y sawl a benodir yn chwarae rhan lawn a gweithredol drwy gyfrannu at benderfyniadau'r Bwrdd a phrosesau llywodraethu da mewn modd agored, gonest a didwyll. Bydd yr unigolyn yn gweithio'n agos gyda Chyfarwyddwyr y Bwrdd Iechyd a gyda sefydliadau eraill yn y sector cyhoeddus, y sector preifat a’r trydydd sector.

Penodir yr Aelod Annibynnol am hyd at gyfnod o hyd at bedair (4) blynedd. Mae swyddi'r Aelodau Annibynnol yn seiliedig ar ymrwymiad amser tybiannol o leiaf bedwar (4) diwrnod y mis, yn dibynnu ar ofynion y sefydliad, ond mae hyn yn aml yn fwy na'r gofyniad sylfaenol.

Fel arfer, cynhelir cyfarfodydd y Bwrdd Iechyd yn ei bencadlys yn Ysbyty Sant Cadog, Caerllion, ond gellid eu cynnal mewn lleoliadau ar draws ardal y Bwrdd Iechyd neu o bell gan ddefnyddio dulliau digidol.

Os oes gennych awydd gwirioneddol i chwarae rhan lawn a gweithgar yn y gwaith o lywodraethu Bwrdd Iechyd a gwneud gwahaniaeth gwirioneddol i fywydau pobl y De-ddwyrain a Chymru, hoffem glywed gennych.

Mae'n bolisi gan Lywodraeth Cymru i hyrwyddo cyfle cyfartal a'i ymgorffori ym mhob agwedd ar ei gwaith, gan gynnwys penodiadau i gyrff cyhoeddus. Croesewir ac anogir ceisiadau gan bob grŵp ac rydym yn sicrhau na fydd unrhyw ymgeisydd cymwys am swydd gyhoeddus yn cael ei drin yn llai ffafriol ar sail oed, anabledd, rhyw, statws priodasol, cyfeiriadedd rhywiol, ailbennu rhywedd, hil, crefydd neu gred, neu feichiogrwydd a mamolaeth.

Bydd egwyddorion cystadleuaeth deg ac agored yn cael eu parchu, a phenodir ar sail teilyngdod.

Y dyddiad cau ar gyfer derbyn ceisiadau yw 08/11/2021 am 4pm.

Ni fydd ffurflenni cais a dderbynnir ar ôl y dyddiad hwn yn cael eu hystyried.

Disgwylir iddo gynnal cyfweliadau 21/12/2021.

 

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Appointment of Independent Member – Finance

Remuneration of £15,936 with time commitment of 4 days per month.

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to help shape the future of health care in the Gwent area and in NHS Wales through undertaking the role of an Independent Member at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to undertake the role of an Independent Member – Finance at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

The role will actively contribute to the health and social care provision in line with the strategic direction of NHS Wales in the south east Wales areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen and and to others outside our geographical boundary.

You will have specialist knowledge of financial mechanisms with a citizen focused approach and some knowledge of local community issues.

Appointees will play a full and active role in contributing to the Board’s decision making and good governance processes with openness, honesty and candour. The individual and will work closely with Health Board Directors, other public, private and third sector organisations. The Independent Member will be appointed for up to a four (4) year period. The posts of the Independent Members are based on notional time commitments of a minimum of four (4) days per month subject to organisational demands, but these are often higher than the minimum requirement.

Meetings of the Health Board are usually held at Health Board Headquarters, St Cadoc’s Hospital, Caerleon, but could be held at venues across the Health Board area or virtually using digital platforms.
