Developer

We have an exciting opportunity for a new Developer to join our development team in Ashby , Leicestershire. You will be working on several exciting projects that form part of our transformation programme.

The opportunity is a full time, permanent role with 37.5 working hours and we operate a hybrid working environment. The hours of work would be 8.45 till 5.15pm Monday - Friday; we'd ideally love this person to be based from our Ashby, Leicestershire office.

Duties will include:

• Build and maintain exciting new applications that improve efficiency, productivity and provide a fresh user experience

• Migrate legacy applications, upgrading our technology footprint and user expectation

• Working with the team to design technical solutions to challenging problems

• Identifying creative ways to improve our existing processes through integration

• Create compelling, creative solutions to challenging problems

The successful candidate will have;

• High attention to detail and be delivery focussed

• Knowledge of the following:

- HTML/CSS

- Modern JavaScript Frameworks (Ideally Vue and Node)

- MongoDB

- PHP

- Developing REST APIs

• Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:

- Elasticsearch

- MySQL/MSSQL/Postgres

- AWS

- CI/CD

- Software Testing (unit/integration testing)

- Knowledge of mapping data systems.
