Are you an experienced French teacher looking for a post in a consistently "Good" school where pupils enjoy learning?

Due to an immediate long term sick resignation this MFL team of 4 are looking for an MFL teacher to take responsibility on French lesson's for Key Stages 3 to 4. Under the direction of the recently appointed Head of Department (September 21) this post will have full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking. This is a well knitted department who work collaboratively and share schemes of work and learning resources. The department consists of 1 ECT, the new HOD and 2x teachers who have taught at the school for several years following the completion of their NQT years. This is a career school for many teachers on account of the the vision and support of the Head, who has been in situe for over 7 years and was praised by Ofsted for "demonstrating a determined and dedicated leadership" team. Results are high and well above the Hertfordshire and National levels.

The MFL department utilises AQA and is especially keen to hear from applicants who can offer some Spanish alongside Key stage 3 and 4 French teaching. Pupils are able to study both French and Spanish to Key Stage 5 and, in normal times, enjoy annual trips abroad as a department.
