Reporting to the Digital Product Lead, the Digital Trading Exec role exists to drive real sales growth from existing Brakes customers via the e-commerce web platform
You will define and deliver the techniques and activations required on-site to increase purchase recency, frequency, items per basket and ultimately grow the value of on-line customers to the business
Through rigorous measurement they will lead a culture of continuous improvement and achievement of targets

The role:
Driving the daily performance of the site is the next iteration of our development in eCommerce
As use and value grows, driving incremental performance will become increasingly important - we want to formalise this activity and build into a specific role

Key Responsibilities

Define and implement activities on desktop and mobile that deliver measurable commercial growth across key metrics
AOV / Lines per order and Average Account value will all improve as a direct result of output
Deliver between 5 - 10% of eComm sales growth via measured sales plan activity
Measure the effectiveness of Perfect With & See Similar, maintaining and expanding the data set and customer engagement with the functionality
Report on and work with Merchandising team to measure efficacy of Search and Browse, and recommend actions to improve
Report and monitor sales, key metrics and promotions through daily and weekly reporting
Work closely with the Digital Product Lead to create the tools and web functionality needed to deliver success
Plan and deliver activations with the Commercial marketing team
Analyse trading patterns and understand the sales curve, reporting findings and identifying opportunities to further maximize online sales and profitability You:

Required skills and competencies:

Proven record of delivering eCommerce revenue growth in either a B2B or B2C environment
Demonstrable experience in using analytics tools (preferably Google Analytics) to understand customer behaviour
Searchandising experience & analysis of Search & Browse
Clear eCommerce experience of a "browsable" multi-sku range
Strong understanding of relevant digital technologies, with the ability to harness their potential to drive customer and business value
Understanding of P&L structure, especially sales, discount and margin
Strong commercial awareness, analysis & problem-solving skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with the creative flair to drive your trading area forward
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
Able to maintain strong customer focus while balancing business requirements and goals
Strong personal impact and the ability to inspire confidence and positive action
Professional communication (written and verbal) and strong influencing skills
