Year 5 Teacher

Calling all Upper Key Stage 2 Teachers! Are you a confident Key Stage 2 Teacher with Year 5 teaching experience looking for your next role in 2022? Tradewind have the perfect opportunity for you!

Although very early in the academic year, Tradewind are supporting our client school in the recruitment of an experienced Year 5 Teacher. This is a full-time role and will be to cover a maternity leave for one full calendar year, with the expected end date being December 2022. The school have indicated they will be able to support an NQT/ECT through their induction and have a HLTA available to support in class so all applications are welcome.

Your main responsibilities in this role will include.

Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 5 class.

Thoroughly planning lessons for a Year 5 class, making full use of resources that are available to you.

Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.

Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

Creating a supportive learning environment as well fulfilling the social and emotional needs of all the children in your care.

Essential requirements:

Fully qualified Teacher Status or EQT Status

Recent experience or training in a UK Primary School

Experience in Keys Stage 2 is desired, experience in Year 5 is desired but not essential

A proven track record with references to support this.
