Product Development - Project Leader

Job Purpose:

Take responsibility for activities in the Micronclean Product Development team, including the technical development, and improvement of existing products, the creation of new products and processes, and the project management tasks associated with these activities.

Product Development - Project Leader Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the product development projects assigned by the Product Development Manager
  • Collect and interpret data associated with PD projects
  • Maintain full, accurate and retrievable records of projects and related project management documentation
  • Effectively plan product development projects, with support from colleagues
  • Organise the testing of prototypes
  • Support problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Adhere to all relevant requirements in the creation of new products
  • Support the creative process and the generation of new product ideas
  • Maintain all PD systems and records, as specified in department and company SOPs
  • Liaise with other business functions, in the commercial launch or new products
  • Implement new technologies into new products
  • In conjunction with the PD manager, proactively drive the improvement of the Product Development team and its processes
Product Development - Project Leader Requirements:
  • Scientific/Technical qualifications / experience preferred, but not essential (an undergraduate degree in the sciences, mathematics, engineering, or related subjects, would be an advantage)
  • Project management and ownership skills
  • Good IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Full UK/EU driving licence

Product Development - Project Leader - Employment Details
  • GBP20,000 - GBP25,000pa pay (dependent on skills and experience)
  • Full-time, permanent employment, working Monday to Friday
  • Possibility to work from home for up to 3 days a week
  • Part of our Technical team
  • 30 days' annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days for loyalty service.

Location: Skegness - Holly Road Head Offices, Lincolnshire, with occasional working at other sites
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time. Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm (with half an hour unpaid lunch break)
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000pa (dependent on skills and experience)
