Our clients Tooling and Tooling accessories are manufactured in-house and the increasing workload means they are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their dynamic and fast paced Tool room team.
CNC Programmer duties will be
* Be responsible for all aspects of running up to 6 3-axis CNC Milling machines.
* This will include preparing and setting up the resin and aluminium blanks, ensuring the correct cutters are selected, running the chosen programs and some part finishing.
* In addition to setting, you will be expected to perform daily safety checks, machine cleaning, cutter reviews and basic preventative maintenance.
* As part of the Technical team, you will also work closely with the Tooling supervisor and Senior Toolmaker, assisting in machine scheduling and ensuring the parts are made on time and in full.
CNC Programmer will need to be qualified or a time-served engineer
* Capable of working to a high degree of accuracy and precision.
* Self-motivated, combined with the confidence to make technical recommendations.
* Good written and verbal communication skills are also required.
Monday to Friday days 8am to 4pm
