Role: Major Donor Fundraising Manager
Salary: GBP50-54k
Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: 37.5hrs per week

Key responsibilities:
Develop, progress, implement and monitor the planning and private phases of the Capital Appeal Strategy, working with our retained fundraising consultancy, to enable CMKC to meet staged targets over the term of the campaign, whilst complementing and enhancing the activities undertaken by the small fundraising team for day-to-day revenue fundraising requirements.
Play a critical role in the BUILD Development Campaign team from an early stage in the project, ensuring fundraising outcomes are considered, well planned, and implemented and in line with the organisation's values and principles.
Work with the CEO and our retained consultants, where appropriate, to develop the public phase Capital Campaign strategy and operational plan.
To contribute to Camphill community projects focusing on celebrations and inclusion of other residents, staff, and external organisations.
Support the development of Marketing and Communications policy to promote publicity, public relations, and advertising in relation to Major Gifts and Trusts & Foundations. Manage the production and booking of all relevant marketing, PR and other promotional activity, including internal and external publications and social media.
Support the longer-term sustainability of the Charity and its objectives beyond the capital campaign.
Ensure all fundraising activity complies with CMKC policies and procedures and also the legislative requirements of fundraising, including the Code of Fundraising Practice, Charity Commission requirements, the Charities Act, the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
Skills and experience:
3years major gift fundraising experience
5 years fundraising experience
Experience of budget/project management skills
Experience of prospect research
Experience of leading or managing a capital appeal
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Computer literate and Microsoft Office proficiencies
Conflict resolution and communication skills
Flexible attitude/ability to adapt to changing environment and workloads
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and inspire
