Retail Manager

Are you an experienced Retail Manager who is looking for a varied and challenging role where you will maximise sales whilst supporting, developing and empowering the companions and volunteers?

Benefits include: £20,395 per annum, 33 days holiday per year (including 8 public holidays), Group Stakeholder Pension Scheme and mandatory and optional training.

Who are we?

Emmaus Gloucestershire supports people to work their way out of homelessness. As a not-for-profit charity the revenue that we generate through our charity shops provides up to 26 companions with meaningful work in our social enterprise, training, support and a stable home for as long as they need it. It enables them to restore feelings of self-worth and that actions make a real difference to their own lives, and the lives of others.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous retail management experience
  • Experience of working within the charity or voluntary sector is desirable but not essential
  • An effective team player with the ability to lead, enable and empower others. Belief in the potential of individuals and an understanding of the importance of community to help them achieve their potential
  • Commitment to the Emmaus values, model, solidarity and to environmental sustainability and re-use

What we offer

Salary £20,395, 33 days holiday (incl bank holidays), group stakeholder pension scheme and mandatory and optional training.
