ADMINISTRATOR / RESEARCHER
RATE: GBP18,500 pro-rata for part time
HOURS: PART TIME / FULL TIME/ HOMEWORKING

ORGANISATION DESCRIPTION
The company is a leading Personal Search and Energy report provider, working in the conveyancing industry.
KEY DUTIES
The role will be to assist in the research function of the Personal Search service to ensure all deadlines are met and all procedures followed. You will need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to learn and retain information in order to impose high standards. The role will be to visit local councils when necessary to research and collect information as required (about 20 at present) and evaluate best working practices to ensure Search Code Compliance and produce legal documents. To maintain, improve and create data systems in the office administrative function in supporting the Research and Energy Assessment team to ensure all deadlines are met and all procedures followed. You will need to be proficient in IT applications and problem solving with good organisational and customer care skills. You will need to gain a full understanding of the administrative function as you may be called upon to help from time to time.
20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful Candidate must have / be
* Have extensive experience of administration/ general office procedures
* Highly motivated to meet a new and changing business environment
* Manage appointments in the diary to maximize efficiency for both the research and energy assessment function
* Proficient accurate typist
* Good organizational skills
* Computer literate to a high standard
* Good customer service skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Good communicator
* Be flexible to accommodate fluctuations and changes in business
PERSON REQUIREMENTS
* Studied on a Business course to higher level
* Or have a minimum of 5 years experience
* Hold a clean driving license and use of a car
* Training will be given to the right candidate
