Location: Gloucestershire and Wiltshire
Salary: GBP21,000 - GBP24,000 DOE + Company van
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) but due to the nature of the role, this may need to be flexible.
Single Source Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Residential Upholstery Cleaner on behalf of our client based in Swindon. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.
The succesful candidate will travel across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire to support both commercial and residential clients with various carpet and upholstery cleaning requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carrying out professional cleaning of soft/hard furnishings for the Residential/Commercial and Communal departments.
* Delivering excellent Customer Service.
* Fire, flood and trauma restoration work.
* Producing quotations for residential and commercial cleaning and restoration work including recommendations for specialist equipment.
* Collecting and completing relevant documentation to meet legal and organisational requirements, and report writing.
* Participating in the on call rota, and be available to advise on-call colleagues.
* Adhering to the relevant Health and Safety regulations.
* Keeping vehicles stocked with specified stock levels and equipment along with daily and weekly maintenance checks.
* Enhancing the image of the Company through a professional approach.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in a similar role desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
* Good communication skills and to work in a positive manner with the clients and staff.
* Good interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels.
* Be able to prioritise and be proactive.
* Ability to perform tasks in a timely manner and work independently.
* Ability to follow verbal and written communication.
* Have leadership and time management skills and experience in human relations.
* Hold, or be willing to work towards, core competency training (e.g. H&S, Risk Assessment).
* BDMA desirable.
* Clean, full UK drivers license required.
