Within the role of carer, you will be able to utilise your personal skills interacting with our amazing clients and care users providing all aspects of domiciliary care.
Within the role you will be fully trained and certified to a nationally recognised level with ongoing training and development opportunities within the company.
Due to the ongoing level of service and care provided the company is one of the key and approved preferred suppliers of care to NHS, Cambridge City and Cambridgeshire Councils, Suffolk Council, Social Services and many private clients.
The company works very closely and is audited continually with excellent feedback by relevant industry bodies including the Care Quality Commission.
The Role of Carer:
Within the role you will be visiting and spending quality time with Care Users within their own homes. You will build and maintain ongoing relationships as well as delivering exemplary levels of daily and personal care.
As a Carer you will be helping the Care Users to promote and maintain their personal independence by remaining independent and active as possible. Allowing and respecting their privacy and dignity and encouraging them to continue with their daily lives.
Many Care Users relish the social time and interaction with Carers and the company promotes Carers to engage in fun and laughter and conversation with them and helping to make them feel valued.
What is Offered:
* The company are offering a competitive hourly rate of GBP10.00 per hour Monday to Friday. With and uplifted rate of GBP10.75 for weekends.
* Carers are paid for travel with a mileage rate calculated on calls.
* 28 days paid holiday per year
* Pension Scheme
* You will be provided with nationally recognised and certified training.
* All staff will have the opportunity of career progression and potential of promotion.
* Weekday, weekend and flexible working hours.
* Staff are provided with all clothing, PPE etc required for the role.
What you Need:
* Previous care experience would be brilliant but not essential.
* A full driving licence and ideally own vehicle would be highly desirable but not essential.
* A genuine want to make a difference and help improve lives through care.
* A motivated, honest and reliable persona.
* A good level of verbal and written English
