Tate are working with a leading public sector organiation to recruit a Communications Manager to join their teamfor the next 3 to 4 months. This role is based onsite on the outskirts of Exeter with hybrid working available.

Vital to the success of the trust, communication is key to maintaining and improving the Trust's reputation with the public, patients and external stakeholders, often in highly sensitive, political and / or critical circumstances. Effective communication is also essential for engaging, informing and supporting staff in the delivery of their duties. The role of the Communications Manager will include the following areas:

Leading the press office function, including all media enquiries and press liaison
Awards applications
Promotional campaigns and proactive media coverage
Publications, including the annual report
Filming and participation in TV series
General duties
Engagement with our stakeholders
All external communications, including online and social media communication toolsThe post-holder will support the Head of Communications with the development and delivery of communication and engagement strategies, policies and action plans that support the Trust's ambition, business plan and objectives. The post-holder will lead the delivery of external communications for the Trust.

The post-holder will be required to participate in an on-call rota (1-in-3), ensuring professional communications services are available at all times.
