About the Role
This role reports into the Head of Commercial Growth and Digital and will join a new talented and inspirational team leading the Commercial and Digital strategy for the IBH. You will craft, implement, and iterate a multi-lingual digital performance strategy which leverages content across owned, earned, and paid channels to drive awareness, consideration, purchase, advocacy, and repeat purchase for our Brand Homes. In order to do this, you will deliver a multi-lingual digital performance strategy for B2C consumers and B2B customers across the digital path to purchase which supports the delivery of the IBH commercial growth strategy.
You will own and craft the IBH approach to digital performance and the role needs a numerate and technical commercial marketer, who uses sound commercial judgement to deliver creative and innovative digital media and web development plans. You will implement digital strategies designed to drive visitor numbers at the right ticket yield, including optimisation of online sales channels and initiatives such as virtual events and build out a customer lifetime management approach that uses first party data. You will use SEO tactics and CMS to maximise search rankings, optimize content, and analyse user engagement and work closely with the technical agency to maintain site standards and ensure we are outstanding.
You will run traffic performance across all digital platforms and channels - including CRM, B2B partner websites, our visitor experience and e-commerce websites and social channels. This will involve working closely with our Digital Content Marketing Manager to ensure our content and digital performance are working hand in hand. You will measure the performance of the digital performance on an ongoing basis to ensure that all content supplies to the overall commercial targets for the business and is aligned with brand tone of voice. In order to deliver an elite standard, you will lead paid media planning across PPC, SEO and Social and also lead our Web Development budget. You will work closely with our media agencies to ensure that our media plans are deliver a strong return on investment. You will also play a key role in helping improve the IBH visitor experiences through the use of digital technologies over the coming years.
Yourself and the wider team will be targeted to deliver on metrics and KPI's that drives digital performance, running budgets, cost per click, reducing bounce rates and improving speed.
About You
This outstanding position has an important role to play in upskilling the Marketing team, Commercial & Digital teams and wider business on the digital path to purchase. You will have solid understanding of digital strategy and across all key digital communications channels and experience in performance marketing, PPC, SEO, and paid social media are crucial for this role, ideally with a background within tourism companies or online retail businesses with consistent track record of commercial success.
You will utilise your outstanding skills within running web performance in order to ensure we are best in class amongst all competitors. In order to do this, you will be the team's guide for driving traffic to our websites and to supervise their success, this will require strong google analytic skills to supervise speed, bounce rates, software analysis etc.
You will harness your ability to run detailed projects from beginning to end admirably - a "multi-tasker", with a strong sense of urgency to deliver outstanding business results, and an ability to recognise course correction requirements.
You will be a true teammate and strong communicator who can successfully build credible relationships with a number of internal and external partners. Utilising your partner management skills and technical skills you will ensure that our agencies are always pushed to deliver excellence as this person understands what's "under the hood" of the website.
This role will require running a substantial budget, therefore you will hold strong budget management experience
