Intermediate Building Services Engineer
Role: Intermediate Building Services Engineer
Location: Dublin
Salary: DOE
Our client a Mechancial Contractor are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Building Services Engineer for the Dublin location.
Requirements:
* 2+ years' experience as a minimum.
* Will have a Mechanical Engineering & Design background.
* Responsible for compiling Technical Submittals.
* Responsible for compiling method statements & RAMS.
* Responsible for compiling Operation & Maintenance manuals.
* Preparing budget estimates and quotes from details received from Project Manager, Operations Manager and Key Account Managers.
* Required to review specifications and schedules and follow up with requesting, receiving, and filing quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors.
* Carry out some CAD works and schematic drawings.
* Capable of carrying out some small elements of design on mechanical services.
Tasks:
* With the support of the Project Manager, independently assist in the day-to-day operations and workload on several medium/small size projects.
* Ensure that company / project QA/QC procedures are implemented, maintain project files, compile close-out reports and oversee archiving of project files.
* Be commercially and contractually aware and understand the scope, restraints and responsibilities of contracts / projects entered by the company.
* Assist in the successful execution and delivery of multiple Mechanical Installation Projects.
* Take reasonable care of one's own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
* Interact with the Client / Senior Management to always ensure customer satisfaction.
* Conduct Site visits to live projects and assist with the surveys of existing and new infrastructure for mapping of drawings.
* Conduct Site visits to live projects for project design verifications and analysis.
* Escalate issues as required and communicate clearly and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building services.
* Mechanical Construction experience.
* Mechanical Engineering / design background.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience of Project controls and the full project lifecycle.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Problem solving skills.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Be a motivated and Highly dependable individual.
* Experience in Energy systems and energy saving analysis is advantageous.
* Client facing experience is advantageous.
