An exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking electronics company has arisen for a Technical Support Engineer
This is based in Royston close to the train station and free parking.
Hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday

As your experience of the product range increases, there is potential to develop new skills , including; testing and supporting the developing of new products, contributing to sales pitches where a technical input is needed, marketing technologies, content creation or product development.
This is a great role for someone who is keen to build experience and develop their skills as product and technical training is provided. There is plenty of room for growth and an increase in responsibility here within a fast-paced industry.
Key responsibilities:
Proactively engage with both retail and distributor technical queries
Replicate issues and errors encountered. Report technical/coding faults
Create and update technical documents/manuals and specifications as required
Test new products, firmware and software prior to release
Occasional soldering work will be required
Assist marketing and product development team with new ideas/features and technical content
Work with office manager and other colleagues in maintaining a positive and co-operative work environment
Essential Criteria
At least two years' experience in an IT/electronics environment, wireless communication or electronics engineering- is desirable
Ideally an HNC/HND in electronic engineering or computer engineering but not have to.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Clear spoken and written communication skills
Training will be provided but a technical mindset with attention to detail is vital
Strong IT, office and reporting skills
Ambitious to develop in an expanding small sized business.
