Registered Children's Home Manager Canterbury
Salary GBP50000-GBP60000 Negotiable plus benefits i dependent on size of home. GBP5000 welcome bonus once probation has been passed.plus upto GBP12000 Company Bonus Scheme
Hours: 40 hours a week, inclusive of On-Call Duties. Holiday entitlement 34 days including bank holidays.
We are looking for a Registered Manager for our New 7 Bed Children's Homes in Kent supporting 8-18s with EBD SEMH and complex needs.
We are also looking for Deputy Managers- Salary will range from GBP26,000 to GBP30,000 depending on experience.

Registered Children's Home Manager will :-
Manage the staff and resources of the Homes, to provide a positive living experience for the resident young people
Oversee the induction of new employees
Monitor and review the work practices of all staff in their day-to-day work with the young people, parents, Social Workers, other agencies and the public and those they encounter on outreach work
Attend training opportunities as required
Registered Children's Home Manager must have:-
At least 2 years' experience in operational & service at a residential setting
Experience of working with children with SEMH EBD and complex needs in a in a residential setting
Experience of facilitating, organising and directing & developing teams
Experience of using childcare Standards & best practice model to guide decision making
Experience of translating policy into practice
Knowledge of Management theories
Management Qualifications
Management training & experience
Child related/Social care qualifications
Knowledge of Equal opportunities & diversity models
Up to date knowledge of Childcare & Child Protection Laws
Basic knowledge of IT
NVQ 5 Leadership and management
Full knowledge of OFSTED requirements
Satisfactory DBS check
Drive
