Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who has some supervisory experience? For example, previously worked as a Maintenance Supervisor/team leader or had duties running a shift who wants to work Monday to Friday days 6:30am-3pm for a base salary of GBP35,000-GBP40,000?

The basics:
•Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
•Location: Burton
•Industry: Manufacturing
•Pay: GBP35,000-GBP40,000
•Hours: Monday to Friday days 6:30am to 3pm
•Overtime: Paid at 1.5 and double time after 12 midday on a Saturday
Overview:
With manufacturing facilities located across the world and 2 dedicated manufacturing plants based on the UK we now need a maintenance team leader engineer to join the team.
The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will be tasked to lead the maintenance team of x6 engineers with duties such as allocating work, dealing with contractors, organising the PPM schedule, projects etc.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor role:
•Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
•Organise work load for the engineering team
•Liaise and work closely with the engineering manager and other senior members of the team on site
•Organise contractors coming onto the site
•Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to
•Manage the shift engineers and aid with any issues
•Mentor and coach if required
The ideal Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:
•Time served apprenticeship
•Strong Mechanical Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/ production environment or similar
•Knowledge and understanding of Gear Boxes, Motors, Taper locks and Conveyors
•Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc
•Basic electrical skills beneficial but not essential
Commutable from: Derby, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield, Fradley, Swadlincote, Barton-under-Needwood and surrounding areas.
