Would you like to have every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off work to enjoy what you want to do? Working compressed hours in 4 days to give you 3 days off a week? If so then, we have a great chance for you to work as Assembly Operative on a 4 day a week shift working Monday to Thursday with every Friday off. You will be working for a local employer of choice who pride themselves on supporting and developing their employees.

This Assembly Operative role is based in Ilminster, Somerset and the organisation have a fantastic reputation for employee well being, engagement and development opportunities.

As a Assembly Operative you will be:

Running various manual and mechanical machinery
Assembling small scale components
Packing products ready for dispatch
Cleaning and checking raw materials and component parts
Carrying out Quality Control checks on raw and finished products
Receiving and checking materials for production
Completing records and documentation as requiredIf you have previously worked as a; machine operative, assembly operative, production operative, line operative, engineer, machine operator, machine setter, sewing machinist, factory operative, dispatch operative, machinist, warehouse operative, picker packer, assembler or have a hobby or interest in assembly based work then we want to hear from you today! Any experience in a production or engineering environment would be a great asset for this role.

Hours of work are 7am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, working 35 hours a week over 4 days, having every Friday off!!

Rate of pay is GBP10.00 per hour and this is working on an long term temporary basis.

Own transport or the ability to get to Ilminster is essential due to shift times
