Mechanical Engineer
West Suffolk
GBP38,000 Basic Salary + Company Van
Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join one of UK's leading FM/Engineering companies across various sites in West Suffolk. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for maintenance and emergency response reactive repairs, plus repairs to Commercial Boiler plant on both Oil and LPG. You will work for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday and be included in the out of hours callout rota.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Carrying out PPM tasks and recording and completing relative documents
Carrying out reactive callouts on critical systems
Completing compliance testing and minor works to JSP375 standard
Maintaining Commercial LPG installations
Maintaining Commercial Oil installations
Clear communication of the company vision and objectives, enduring the implementation of new procedures
Promoting and driving the company values
Keeping up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
LPG and Oil Commercial Installations experience
Oftec for Oil Installations experience
Strong communication skills
Good ability to identify faults and carry out rectifications to the relevant standards.
