Nottinghamshire
12 Month Contract - Inside IR35
GBP10-14 p/h
Role Introduction
Astute are currently seeking a proactive, enthusiastic team player with excellent interpersonal skills to join a Human Resources team as a HR Assistant. The role is based at a CCGT power station in Nottinghamshire.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Human Resources manager, you will be responsible for a variety of duties. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provided HR administrative support which could include references, sickness / leavers / absences, purchase order requisitions, personal details administration, annual employee engagement survey reporting etc
Supporting the wider business with recruitment support including advice, advert writing, offers & contracts etc.
Assisting the payroll team with maintaining the employee payroll database
Managing new hire process
Administration of the company benefits
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Studying towards or qualified in CPP, CIPD or IPP
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while handing multiple tasks
Attention to detail and a good analytical mindset
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
Good payroll and/or HR administration experience
