Electrical Supervisor - Cambridge - Permanent - Commercial New Build projects
An established Mechanical and Electrical Contractor based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Supervisor. They work in various sectors ranging from retail, commercial, offices, student accommodation and R&D typically valued up to GBP10M. These projects are across East Anglia, Home Counties and London so open to applications from candidates in those areas.
As an Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:
?? Allocate the workload accordingly, meeting customer deadlines and maintaining standards and quality of workmanship at all times.
?? Leading teams of Electricians.
?? Ensuring health and safety is maintained at all times.
?? Organising materials and sub-contractors.
?? Tool box talks.
?? Creating risk assessments.
?? Attend site meetings.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
?? Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of Electrical systems and their installation methods.
?? Time served Apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications.
?? Hold SSSTS
?? Good people management and motivational skills.
?? The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
?? The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
?? Day to day problem solving and answering/ resolving any technical queries.
?? Full responsibility in assuring the installation is of a high standard.
