HIU Assembly Operative

M65jobsearch are looking for a HIU Assembly Operative for one of our Clients who is at the forefront of delivering centralised efficient low carbon energy solutions across public/private residential, retail and commercial sectors throughout the UK. We operate in a rapidly expanding vibrant market for Heat and Power solutions delivering centralised community energy projects.

As a result of our continuing growth we have a temporary opportunity for an Assembly Operative to be based at our Head Office in Blackburn. Working in our Hydraulic Interface Unit (HIU) production department you will be responsible for supporting the assembly process of our new HIU product range Therme.

The Role: As a HIU Assembly Operative you will:

• Provide assembly support for the electronic components of the HIU's which includes cable harness work, wire stripping and cutting and general electronic assembly work

• Inspect and test your work to ensure products are assembled to a high standard

• Complete paperwork as part of the Quality Assurance process

• Pick materials and package completed units ready for delivery to customers

• Work as a team member to understand project timelines and delivery deadlines

• Work in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's Health & Safety policy The Person: You will have:

• Physical capability with a hands-on approach

• Experience of working with a variety of hand tools

• Previous experience in a electrical or mechanical manufacturing department is advantageous • Good organisational skills making sure working areas are kept tidy

• Attention to detail

• Working hours Mon - Fri 08:00 am - 4:30 pm
