We are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join a brand new SEN school opening in September. The school supports children aged 11-16 with learning disabilities.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate individual to progress their career within specialist education.
Qualifications / Experience
* GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above qualification is essential.
* Experience of working as a Teaching assistant or a support assistant in an education setting
* Understanding of the Safeguarding principles and Child Protection procedures.
* Knowledge or experience of pupils with SEN or SEMH/ASD
* Commitment to the role, the desire to put the child first and treat them as an individual
* Be positive and creative in meeting pupils' needs
