Fulfilment Supervisor

GBPup to GBP40,000 plus fantastic benefits including non-contributory pension, private healthcare and a bonus scheme

Our pharmaceutical medical client is looking for an experienced Fulfilment Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and to increase the company's overall performance. Responsibilities for the Fulfilment Supervisor
Organizing and maintaining inventory and storage area.
Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.
Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
Maintaining inventory by conducting physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
Improve warehouse work process through strategic planning to create a more efficient fulfilment system for Field Replacement Units, Instruments, Drapes, and other consumables.
Planning warehouse layout to maximize inventory controls and process flow.
Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance
Determine staffing levels and assign workload
Interface with external and internal customers to answer questions or solve problems
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.
Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs
Processing returns

About you
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have/be:

Proven work experience as a Warehouse / fulfillment Supervisor
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Possess a strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask and adapt to quickly changing priorities.
Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively at both the detail level as well as at a strategic / macro level.
Have strong data driven analytical skills.
Demonstrate a high-level, hands-on knowledge of ERP systems.
Communicate effectively with internal / external Stakeholders.
Knowledge of transport operations including couriers
Ability to pack systems for outbound shipping
