Role: Extrusion Setter
Salary: GBP25k - 27k PA + Pension
Location: Leicester
Contract: Permanent

Our Client is keen to appoint a Permanent Extrusion Setter to work nights for the massive order book. As a Permanent Extrusion Setter you must be experienced in Plastic extrusion, be fully conversant on plastic extrusion techniques and learning the machines in the first 3 months (1st month on days). Be able to set tasks for yourself, be pro-active and reactive to issues ensuring the produced work is at a top standard and in good time with little to no scrap. Using hand tools, power tools and have an excellent eye for detail when machines do not run correctly.
For the successful candidate, they will do the day shift for the first month of employment to get use to the machines and processes.
This role would suit a person who is currently in a mechanical role who wants to progress within the company, of which the company will train and pay for.
* Experience in plastic extrusion machinery and maintaining them (ideal, but not essential)
* Experience in mechanical machinery (knowledge of processed products)
* Plastic tubing extrusion techniques
* Strong work ethic / has a logical mind

* Skilled using power and hand tools
