Telecoms Solutions Engineer - Ireland
Arden White have partnered with a global telecoms provider who are working on numerous projects across the UK. Due to their continued growth, we are looking for a candidate with extensive experience working on and facilitating telecoms project roll outs You will help support the project team and liaise directly with their clients.
What you will be doing
Ensure customers' expectations are fulfilled & build confidence & trust
Work with clients to define project design & technical guidelines
Provide technical support for the project team in the areas of Radio, Transmission, Power, Structural and rigging.
Assess design proposals for electrical and HVAC compatibility
Create and execute current work plans
Recognise process deficiencies
Communicate and enforce current project-specific and industry standards and specifications internally & externally
Ensure SLAs are being achieved
What you will need
Proven industry experience or 3rd Level degree with focus on engineering / telecom
A broad knowledge and understanding of the various site solutions, emerging technologies and passive/active infrastructure as part of wireless network rollout
Evidence of on-going professional development
10 years of telecoms rollout as a key technical decision maker and client interface
Radio engineering or transmission background
Excellent working knowledge of wireless technologies for mobile networks
Detailed vendor knowledge of Antenna System, BBU and Tx components
PC Literate (proficient in MS Office) with good reporting and communication skills
Installation & Commissioning / Field Engineering experience beneficial
