Production Shift Manager

A Dorset based food manufacture are looking to recruit an experienced Production Shift Manager for their modern production facility based in North Dorset.

As a Shift Manager you will manage, lead, and motivate your team within the production facility and aim to deliver 100% customer service at the right quality and cost. You will also be responsible for ensuring key KPI's relating to Safety, Quality, Performance and People are delivered within the set budgets.

Role:

Production Shift Manager
Monday to Friday 5.30am - 2.30pm 1 week, followed by 1.30pm to 10.30pm the next week

Key responsibilities of Shift Manager:

Manage and develop your team/s to deliver business objectives
Manage site environmental and safety targets within your area
Maintain high quality standards and actively promote a quality culture
Ensure a clean working environment is maintained
Provide regular communication briefings and support other operational departments with advice and information to maintain production flow
Control of Absence levels
Assist in the continuous improvement culture of the site
Experience and skills required:

Must have food manufacturing experience
Experience of managing production teams
Experience of 121s, investigations and disciplinaries etc
Report writing and KPI measurements
