Main purpose of job
To attract high quality candidates, build a positive impression of the company and manage the recruitment process to achieve the company's overall objectives
Key tasks
Liaise with departments to organise resource planning
Manage and implement the job selection process in line with company values, at minimum cost and to ensure retention, including:
* Writing job descriptions and developing job specs
* Advertising jobs through social media and other mediums
* Head hunting
* Shortlisting
* Interviewing and candidate testing
* Hiring
Mentor and train hiring managers in interview techniques and selection
Evaluate the effectiveness of various recruiting technique and sources for all types of job applicants
Ensure recruitment is in line with equality diversity policies
Create a talent pool of candidate to ensure the best and quickest selection for the company
Manage and foster relationships with universities and other areas of potential recruitment
Manage the assessment and onboarding of contractors
Manage relationships with staff to ensure high levels of employee retention
Assist with skill based training
Assisting with investigations, disciplinaries and other HR activities where necessary
Assisting with any other tasks as required by the company
