Branch Manager - Automotive Repair and MOT Centre / Fast Fit

We need a Branch Manager / Depot Manager / Automotive ServiceManager to take over the Management of one of our clients Depots / Automotive Repair Centres / Car Repair Centres. This role would suit an existing Branch Manager that wants a new challenge and environment or a Master Technician / Assistant Branch Manager looking for an upward career step?

Being a Branch Manager / Depot Manager means having the freedom to concentrate on the important things - driving sales, inspiring your team and providing outstanding customer service.

Ideally located - Kendal, Windermere, Bowness on Windermere, Netherfield, Helsington, Sedbergh, Killington, Milnthorpe, Mintsfeet, Hallgarth, Burnside, Garnett Bridge, Grayrigg, Underbarrow

Salary: GBP26k Basic, OTE GBP29k + Benefits

The Candidate & Role

  • You will either be a current Branch Manager / Centre Manager / Depot Manager / PartsManager or an Assistant Branch Manager / Experienced Car Mechanic / Master Technician / Parts Supervisor looking for your next career move.
  • You must have proven fast fit / tyre fitting / automotive or car mechanic experience along with people management skills or supervisory experience
  • You should be comfortable working under pressure and to tight timescales.
  • Strong communication skills
  • To manage the day-to-day operation and control of the Automotive Repair and MOT Centre.
  • Maximise sales, turnover and profitability in all areas of the business.
  • Promote & develop the awareness of customer care within the branch.
  • Achieve and surpass sales and profit margin targets.
  • Minimise branch costs.
  • Manage, motivate and develop staff to build a successful, effective team.
  • Maintain staff levels as agreed with the Regional Manager and to recruit suitable employees.
  • Provide induction training to new members of staff and ensure attendance on designated training courses.
