Role overview

  • ?This position sits within our Bishops Stortford office and will see you working as part of the central compliance team. This role covers a range of compliance related admin tasks with a particular focus on assisting the Compliance Partner.

Principle responsibilities include

  • Organise courses, including sending appointments, liaising with the training provider, caterers and venues.
  • Organise new employee joining packs, confirmations and initial induction training Organise course bookings on conferences and courses
  • Provide diary and email support to the Compliance Partner
  • Attend the formal Compliance and Risk Management meetings, take minutes and follow up on action points
  • Upload and update documents on the internal intranet, e.g wiki, news items and guidance articles as well as policies, manuals and procedures
  • Updating Compliance documents as requested by senior members of the team
  • Collate results from our Fit and Proper forms (declarations) issued annually
  • Assist in drafting, sending and collating responses from surveys
  • Assist with drafting Anti Money Laundering (AML) reports for submission to NCA and monitoring items for the Money Laundering Reporting Officer to follow up
  • Collate information for regulatory returns
  • Prepare and format PowerPoint presentations
  • Type, format and proof read reports including Compliance and AML reports to Partners
  • Liaise with staff in other departments to facilitate the review of policies, 'How to Guides' and any supporting documents in line with agreed timescales
  • Assist other team members and other parts of the team as and when required to help cover holiday/sickness absence and busy periods which may include the need to work from a different office
  • Work on ad hoc projects as directed

What we need from you

  • High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience/ability to take minutes from meetings
  • Strong admin background
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
