Performance Tester - Home Based
We're looking for a talented Performance Test Engineer to work for our client in Salisbury
This is a home based role so you can live anywhere in the UK.
What we need is someone with very good experience in Performance, Stress and Load testing. There are many tools available in the market however, we need someone with JMeter experience but being a performance tester, we expect you to have experience with other market leading tools as well such as LoadRunner, LoadNinja, NeoLoad etc.
Sometimes, companies do performance testing bit differently, they do not test the APIs and SQL (queries, storProc) bottlenecks but instead check the performance of webpages (for page load, optimisation, image size, unused content etc) which is not what we need.
We need a technical performance tester. Their APIs are dynamic and use dynamic tokens which are session based and in order to create a performance test suite, one has to write the script as well (due to API Json response extraction and manipulation).
This role must be able to take on the responsibility to create, run and maintain the enterprises level performance testing across all of our products. We will be expanding and as a result we will have a bigger customer base and performance testing will become paramount.
The Package:
Basic salary: GBP45,000 - GBP58,000 per annum
