Job Purpose
Manage a portfolio of National Accounts. Create strategies and tactical plans to grow the Consumer Electronics business and meet agreed sales and margin targets, whilst consistently retaining profitable customers. You will look to develop new Account areas and ensuring year on year growth on current trading customers.

Accountabilities
• Develop and implement the long-term business strategies, to achieve sales and profit targets.
• Broaden the business opportunities by investigating and developing, as appropriate, all options for route to market.
• Manage business partnerships both current and new to seek out opportunities.
• Manage support to the sales channel through sales promotions, marketing initiatives and training.
• Provide and continually update sales forecasts. Communicate this information to product management to support purchasing and stock planning.
• Maintain an accurate awareness and working knowledge of stock levels.
• To present activity and performance results at sales meetings. Communicate new ideas to maximise sales and profit and brand awareness.
• Discuss with Senior Management creative ways of using additional funding for channel development.
• Report current pricing and product trend information and work with company management to formulate new strategies.
• Propose any pricing/promotional requests in a timely manner and through the Pricing Request system.
• Work within the Budgets allocated to give an agreed ROI.
• Provide effective and timely reports for the management team to be able to manage the business such as Weekly Sales and Aged Stock tracking reports.
• Work with peers within other parts of the company to ensure the growth and success of the business, including contributing ideas and sharing knowledge and experiences.
• Keep up to date with developments in the industry (technology and otherwise) and identify potential new business opportunities.
• Keep up to date on Product knowledge.
• Focus on driving Brand Awareness across Accounts aligned to Marketing strategies.
• Identify customer training requirements and help deliver effective training programmes.
• Responsible for aged debt issues on account base. Assist in resolving any outstanding queries.
• Work with logistics colleagues to ensure that effective and efficient logistics solution are reached with designated accounts.
• Manage Service Solution within the account base, and make sure returns that don't fall within our returns policy are correctly dealt with. Immediately report any quality related issues to both Service and Product teams.
• Work closely with Senior Sales Management and Finance to make sure all Customer SOA's and expenses are correctly accrued and aligned to deadlines.
• Complete Customer Audits as required on time. Present internally any issues with possible solutions.
• Attend Brand and Industry focused Trade shows.

Role Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role within a sales environment would be advantageous.
• Able to demonstrate good attention to detail and level of accuracy
• Able to demonstrate excellent numeracy and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the business and our customer base
• Excellent PC skills with good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Excellent team working skills

• Proven problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to exceed sales and profitability targets
• Ability to deal with pressure
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Office based - Leeds minimum 1 days a week
