I am currently seeking an individual that is passionate about giving back to the next generation. The role involves providing emotional support to adolescents and children with Emotional behavioural difficulties.

Our values revolve around therapeutic care and promoting positive outcomes for children and adolescents that have experienced significant trauma. You will be working with vulnerable people that have needs surrounding: Learning disabilities, Emotional behavioural difficulties, Challenging behaviour, Family break downs, Sexual abuse or Mental health.

The role will involve supporting children who are at a point of crisis with every aspect of their life including: Contact sessions, Employment, Day to day tasks and re-engaging in education. Previous experience with children and young people is desirable but we can support you with the training and guidance you need once you join us.

Creating a safe secure world for Children who have experienced trauma
Supporting young peoples emotional well being
Creating an individual and person-centred care and environment
Taking part in activities such as football, cinema visits, swimming, bowling and much more
Assisting and encouraging to complete domestic duties e.g. cleaning, washing and cooking
Encouraging their social interactions within the community and people around them
Accurate and objective record keeping and updating care plans
To liaise with family, doctors and other health care professionals
Promotion of the person's own personality, dignity and freedom of choice Role Requirements:

Understanding of safeguarding is key to this role
Drivers preferred
Able to work flexibly to a rota with sleep-ins required
Experience in similar setting preferred
Experience of challenging behaviour would be beneficial to this role
Understanding of emotional behavioral difficulties or SEMH
A Psychology, Criminology degree or a Health and social care qualification is desirable
