Product Support Engineer
Location - Fareham
Working Hours - Monday - Friday

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Product Support Engineer to join a global organisation working within the Robotics industry.
As a Product Support Engineer, you will be joining up with the existing product support team focusing on networks and software whilst researching and developing new and modern technical support solutions for internal and customer use.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical, software and networking systems and have experience working with customers and clients and providing support.
Key Responsibilities as a Product Support Engineer:
Develop an understanding of all aspects of products to offer front line technical support including electrical and power systems
Provide technical support internally and to customers by phone, email and in person where necessary to our clients customer base
Feedback into the software and product development processes to provide better service to clients
Ability to implement a range of modern digital technology to provide better support remotely
Skills/Knowledge Required as a Product Support Engineer:
BTEC Higher or similar Electrical, Electronic and / or Software qualifications
Experience of working with customers and customer support
In depth knowledge of software and computer systems
In depth knowledge of networking principles (Ethernet and fibre optics)
Working practice of digital fault finding of bespoke protocols
Experience with handling, filtering and analysing data
Ability to read circuit diagrams
Competent use of IT equipment and test equipment
IP networked systems knowledge
Ability to fault find both Electrical, Electronic products
Fibre Optic testing & terminating
Ability to offer support remotely to solve any issues
