We have a number of opportunities in Croydon focused around helping improve community experiences of End of Life issues. We'll be working with community members and organisations to understand their strengths and challenges and support them to access a wide range of training, events and learning opportunities to maximise the support they offer around death, dying and loss.

Based in the Community Action team at St Christopher's Hospice, the Croydon Community Connectors will be responsible for organising and managing the project, liaising with and supporting organisations, groups and community members in Croydon to provide events or opportunities, and ensuring a wider range of people are aware of developments and are able to learn from them.

The project is focused on supporting community-wide knowledge and skills about End of Life experiences, including having important conversations in our communities, how we deal with loss and how we can ensure we have planned for our future. Working with our Community Practice Development Lead, you'll be organising and creating opportunities to get involved in events, undertake training or develop new initiatives which help create awareness, skills and knowledge in local people related to end of life challenges.

Please note that these posts are being offered on a 1-year Fixed Term Contract, and there will be an opportunity for flexibility regarding work hours.
