We are working with a busy, growing business on the outskirts of Exeter looking to recruit a motivated and pro-active Recruitment Officer to work in their HR department.

Reporting to the Directors, this role is responsible for delivering consistently accurate process and procedural Employee Relations and Resource Management advice to the end-to-end employee lifecycle activities. This role works alongside the HR Manager providing support with L&D, HR KPI????????s and associated administration.

Role:
???????Responsible for the end-to-end recruitment delivery process
???????Responsible for directly sourcing candidates through various channels in a cost-effective way
???????Responsible for the continuous improvement of the candidate experience to support employee retention and sourcing strategy for the future
???????Maintain, review and update the current recruitment process in line with best practice and current and upcoming legislation
???????Proactively host and support on and offsite recruitment/careers events
???????Support on-boarding of new starters when required, including advertising, interviews, inductions, collecting and collating new starter information.
???????Support all HR administration and HR record keeping at the office
???????Ensure all Employee Relations notes are accurately recorded
???????Assist managers with HR enquiries related to sickness, absence, flexible working etc.
???????Provide administrative support in investigations by note taking

Person:
???????Experience of working within a generalist HR role or as a Recruiter (agency/inhouse)
???????Microsoft experience
???????Experience of delivering against hard to fill vacancies within challenging deadlines
???????Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
???????Able to influence at all levels through tact and diplomacy
???????Demonstrate positive, resilient and enthusiastic behaviours

This role is varied, and no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to make your own decisions and influence process change. Ideas and enthusiasm for new methods of employee attraction and retention are encouraged and decisions are made quickly from Directors who are based on site.
