Are you passionate about people and seeking your next role in HR? advo has an exciting opportunity for an HR & Engagement Consultant to join our Operations Team based at our Head Office in Maidstone, Kent ME16. The HR & Engagement Consultant is a new position and we are looking for candidates who have strong HR and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to develop and drive staff engagement. This is a permanent position avaialble on a full or part time basis - minimum 4 full days or 5 days with reduced daily hours. A competitive full time salary of GBP33,000 to GBP38,000 per annum - salary will be pro-rata for PT applicants. The HR & Engagement Consultant will work closely with the Management Team and duties will include:

Recruitment

Maintaining Employee Contracts and the Employee Handbook

Providing general Employment Law advice

Assisting and advising on Performance Management, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Dismissals and Contractual Issues

Advising on Tupe for transferring staff

Driving Staff engagement

Promoting advo's culture and benefits to staff

Assisting in the delivery of employee communications

Involvement in ad hoc projects such as Mental Health and Well-being, charity and team building initiatives

Skills

Expert technical HR knowledge essential

Payroll Experience advantageous

Confidentiality and discretion essential

High level of interpersonal & communication skills

High Level of Planning, prioritisation and organisation skills essential

Qualifications

Further education (diploma/degree advantageous)

Level 7 CIPD

Minimum 2 years' in hourse HR experience
