How you'll make an impact;

As part of an ever expanding product & tech function, you'll be a champion for quality within our ever expanding software engineering function.

Quality is a team responsibility at Xero, and part of your role will be to help coach the team on development approaches and testing strategies to promote quality as well as being a hands-on member of the development team. You'll focus on helping to create sustainable, quality development processes, contribute towards automation, development and DevOps tasks whilst continually learning and sharing your knowledge with the wider team (.Net Core/C#/React.js stack).

Your previous analysis and testing skills will help the team build quality and your experience with test automation within a development environment will enable you to contribute as a cross-functional team member. The successful Software Developer in Test will have a successful background in the testing space with strong automation testing expertise gained within a fast paced agile DevOps, CI/CD focussed environment. You'll have a strong background in a range of testing frameworks, automation tools and previous coding skills in some of: C#, .Net, Python, JavaScript.
