Financial Accountant / Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to assist the Financial Controller with the management of the financial accounting processes and reporting, payroll, pensions accounting systems forecasting and budgeting cycles of a company based just outside Huntingdon. We are flexible on the level and the salary will reflect this.

Requirements

* Degree level education with an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
* Strong experience working within a finance department, preferably at Accountant level
* Double entry bookkeeping and accounting principles experience (achieved through relevant experience or fully qualified AAT or part or full CIMA/ACCA/ACA professional qualification)
* Experience of working in a RandD organisation
* Detailed knowledge and extensive experience of IFRS
* Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written presentations
* Well-organised with clear, effective and practical planning skills
* Able to keep to tight deadlines in a challenging, dynamic and changing environment.
* Excellent IT skills (advanced competency in MS Excel and accounting systems)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
