As a result of my client's expansion plans, and their continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Social Media Assistant to be based at their Head Office in Plymouth.
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive person, able to work against tight deadlines with outstanding prioritisation skills. The right candidate will keep multiple social media channels updated whilst remaining brand-focused and seek out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences and increasing company turnover. Key Duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage company social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
- Create engaging and dynamic written, graphic and video content.
- Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms.
- Optimizes content following search engine optimization (SEO).
- Creates content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation.
- Assists social media team with large projects.
- Works as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns.
- Monitor competitor activity.
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content.
- Be knowledgeable in social media trends and integrate these into the company.
- Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.
- Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
- Develop strategies for growing sales & increasing awareness.
- Work cohesively with in-house teams to ensure targets are met.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.
- Confident computer skills.
- Transferable creative flair.
- Analytical skills.
- Clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn about new innovations and software.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Design experience or skills on Adobe / Corel / Photoshop desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of google analytics desirable
- Knowledge of paid advertisements desirable.
