Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Contract: 6 months
Hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Do you have a degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science / technology, chemistry, or life sciences?
I have an opportunity to work for a global pharmaceutical company in a 'hands-on' role in a team conducting research into the solubility and dissolution of API and drug products. You will be working in a state of the art facility in the drug product design department, which specialise in material science and formulation design.
Key responsibilities:
Support high quality scientific experimentation to characterise API's and oral drug products. Responsibilities will include sample preparation and analysis for solubility and dissolution studies.
Ensure accurate, timely entries are made in electronic laboratory notebook system according to accepted good practice.
Analyse and summarise experiment results and prepare technical reports.Requirements:
Practical experience in a laboratory setting which may include general laboratory procedures, analytical techniques, drug product formulation development or design.
Graduate degree in pharmaceutical or allied sciences (i.e. pharmacy, pharmaceutical science / technology, chemistry, or life sciences) will be considered an advantage.
