Hays social care are currently looking for support workers to join us for bank work to support individuals with learning disabilities.We are working alongside a large specialist health and social care provider who are seeking support workers to help and support adults with learning difficulties in Plymouth. They offer a very welcoming and supportive environment with skilled staff and management. As a support worker you will be assisting vulnerable individuals with personal and practical care

Your new role

You will work within a very friendly team offering care and support to adults with learning disabilities based in a residential home setting. You will be required to be flexible with your availability as they are looking to cover a variety of different shifts throughout the week.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 6 months experience working in care in the last 2 years is essential
• NVQ in Health and Social Care desirable but not essential
• Own transport desirable but not essential
• References covering working in care in the last 2 years is essential
