Jacskon Hogg are proud to be supporting a global manufacturing business with their search for a Supplier Quality Engineer on an initial 18 month contract with the potential for extension.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Liaise with the Design team on new projects, parts and materials
* Liaise with Suppliers on new projects, parts and materials
* Ensure Suppliers are using the latest tools and techniques to ensure parts are delivered to Draeger right first time, all the time.
* Ensure the chosen Suppliers have the competence to produce the parts to the agreed specifications and drawings.
* Ensure Suppliers carry out the acceptance process (APQP, PPAP, FAI) to the agreed standards
Position Requirements
* HND or Equivalent as a minimum in an Engineering discipline (Degree desirable)
* Industry experience in a similar enviroment desirable
* Mid/High volume manufacturing experience is desirable
* Expereince ideally in a Mechnaical discipline
Essential
* Extensive experience in a Quality role
* Use of APQP and PPAP
* Engineering drawing understanding
* Ability to travel sometimes at short notice in the UK and international.
Desirable
* Degree in an Engineering subject
* Relevant (similar) experience in an industrial setting
* Experience of a medium to high volume manufacturing
