Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Diss are looking for a Production Operative - Nights to join their busy team.
This is a full-time position. The company operate a 24/7 operation and have roles available on both day and night shifts paying a very competitive salary.
Monday - Friday 17:00 - 03:00
As this is a trainee position, full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be someone who is looking to start a career within engineering or is looking for a career change.
The Main role and responsibilities of this position after training include:
* Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
* Operate press brake adhering to safety guidelines
* Shape multiple types of metal, including Stainless steel, Mild steel and Aluminium.
* Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
* Operate other machinery as applicable such as deburring machines and laser cutting machines
