Electrical Assembly Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client who are an international leading company who produce precision sensing products as an Electrical Assembly Technician. You will have a precise and accurate hand, following technical drawings and instructions assembling products that can be very small to a high standard. Full training will be provided if you have limited experience but have a desire to learn and are a team player

Start: ASAP
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday with 30 minutes for lunch, and 08:00 to 13.30 Fridays
Salary: GBP21,500 pa
Duration: Permanent

Duties:

- Ensuring that your workstation and surrounding areas are compliant with health and safety procedures.
- Following technical drawings and work instructions
- Assembly of small components and final assembly to a high standard of the reference analyzers
- PCB fitting with some soldering
- Electrical wiring and testing
- Function and pressure Testing
- Advise Team Leaders on any production related issues
Skills and Knowledge Required:

- Great manual dexterity is essential
- Electro-Mechanical, Soldering, Assembly or manufacturing experience
- Problem solving skills
- Team player
- Takes pride in and producing high quality work
- Ability to follow instructions
- Enthusiastic & self-motivated
- Adaptable in workload
