About the role
As a Planner for E-Commerce within our Packaging Division in the UK, you will be responsible for agreeing production plans with different business areas, with cross-functional input, and maintaining the details accurately within our Planning system in a methodical and logical way. You will review and manage the stock build profile throughout the year and manage the order process inline with this, liaising with warehouse around pallet spaces and also ensuring we have the right product in the right location to meet customer demand. You will manage and liaise with production sites for the order and call off process and resolve any queries that arise.
We want you to provide regular and ad-hoc analysis of actual and forecasted volumes of sales, including risk and opportunity scenarios for evaluation in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will also be asked to maintain and improve our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will be expected to assist the commercial teams in the management and avoidance of slow-moving obsolete stock.
You will work closely with internal Account Managers and Sector Sales Managers, as well as liaising with Planning Managers, Finance and the S&OP team. You will have regular meetings with our internal customers, so you need to bring dynamism, energy and strong communication skills to the role.
